Our second stay at this friendly family run hotel on outskirts of Verona. Great welcome as returning guests and lots of information available in English to help us make the most of our 2 day visit including a night at the Arena opera.
Very friendly English speaking reception. Excellent breakfasts , lunch and evening meals menu in snack bar and restaurant. Stephano is very good chef with extensive wine list of excellent local wines. Decor is charming Art Deco style. Location is on a good bus route for visiting old city of Verona and the surrounding area from Parona to Lake Garda including wine areas of Valpolicella and Bardolino. Would recommend and stay again.
Rooms are spacious and very clean but a little tired in terms of decor. WiFi is available but unsecured so consequently can be intermittent for usage.

This is a good value for money hotel. The staff (family) were helpful with any requests. The breakfast and the dining room were quite good.
The distance from the town centre could be a problem for people withou a car, not sure about the buses.

Hotel borghetti was great for us as we were driving around italy on a budget so we really appreciated the secure underground parking and the lift from there to the rooms.the hotel is 7km from verona centre, too far to walk for us, so we decided to take the bus and the hotel gave us very good information about stops and times and that we could pay onboard (as it was sunday and all the local shops and businesses were closed) but the crucial bit of missing information was that the bus had a coin meter onboard and the driver had no means of changing our 20euro note, so we returned to the hotel after our 20 minute wait and took the car. The bonus is that theres lots of parking in and around verona centre and if you dont mind a 10min walk you can park for 1euro/hour until 8pm then its free. The rooms were spacious with good aircon but the shower cubicle was snug for a big fella. Breakfast was excellent and overall we liked the hotel a lot but be aware on sundays as the hotel restaurant is closed and the local buses finish at 7.50pm. Would definitely use this hotel again as the price was excellent and lake garda is an easy 30 min drive
We found the staff a bit frosty, didnt bother us but might have affected more sensitive types and there was a wooden pelmet thing over the bed with lights in that I wasnt keen on as I like to sit up in bed and I banged my head on it a couple of times

Nice budget Hotel. The room was clean, with Wi-FI connection working (wich wasn't the case in other Italian Hotels!). Breakfast was excellent (home made food) !
Far away from the city. 15-20 minutes by car, around 40 minutes by bus (which, by the way, isn't so frequent). We wanted to stay another night, but the staff doubled the price of the room :( We found that inappropriate ...
